COMPANY REGISTRATION

The registration of companies and institutes in Qeshm Free Area is completed in Qeshm Free Area, Company, Registration Office within a few hours. After specifying the name of the company at this unit and obtaining an investment license from the Investment Services Department and having completed the respective forms and submitted the legal documents, registration office will review the documents and after approval will issue the Certificate of Formation.    - Registration declaration.
   - Articles of association of the company to be established.

     at least 35% of the company's   cash capital. (private or public joint stock), or payment
     of the entire amount of cash capital, updating and delivering the capital or non-cash share
     portion in kind.
   - Investment license issued by the Investment Service Dept.
   - Photocopies of the ID cards of shareholders or partners, inspectors or the supervising
     board, in case these are real entities, also the establishment notice and the notice of latest
     changes in the management and signatories, and the articles of association
     (regarding   shareholders and partners).

Registration of foreign legal companies

Regarding foreign companies and establishments intending to become active in the framework of an agency or branch in Qeshm Free Area the following documents are also required, in addition to those mentioned above:
- Letter of authority for representation or the license for branch establishment of foreign legal entities, confirmed by the representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in the home country of the named legal entity.
- The mother company's registration declaration in the home country, in Persian language.
- Authenticated copy of the registration document of mother company in the home country, in Persian language.
- Presentation of an application for the registration of the foreign mother company or institute, performing economic activities in Qeshm Free Area through the branch or representative office.
