Isfahan
province, which is located in the central part of
Iran, covers an area of 105263sq km.Iit is bounded on
the east by Yazd and khorasan, on the north by markazi
on the west by lorestan khuzistan, chahramhal and
kohgiluye, and on the south by Fars.
Standing
1570m above sea level Isfahan is 414 km south of
Tehran. This world-famous city with many historical
buildings, bridges and eye-catching places is one of
the most significant tourist attractions in Iran, so
that almost all tourist visiting Iran go on a visit to
Isfahan.
Dating
back to circa 2500 years ago Isfahan has been the
capital of Iran there historical periods. The golden
age of Isfahan was in the Safavid era (1501-1736).

Isfahan
is famous for its delicate and beautiful handicrafts,
the most important of which are inlaid work
engravings, woodwork, filigree work, carpets and
miniatures.

sweets, especially gaz (confectionery made from manna)
are very delicious and well known through Iran.
Chehel
sotoon palace
This is
a building dating back to the Safavid period built
amidst a vast garden covering an area of 67000sq m.
the building has a veranda with 18 pillars and a large
pool in front of it. Being mirrored in the still water
of the pool, the pillars create a beautiful view. The
wall paintings in the interior of the building are
superlative in their kind.

This
school was built the rule of shah sultan Hoseyn is an
architectural triumph.
Vank
church
Built
in the reign of Shah Abbas it is the most famous
church in Iran. It contains numerous paintings with
religious themes.

Si-o-Seh
Pol Bridge
Being
unique in architecture and construction, this bridge
has thirty-three arches through which the Zayandeh
Rood River passes. It was built in the reign of shah
Abbas.
Kashan
This
city, which is situated in the margin of the central
desert of Iran, contains several sights and historical
monuments attracting many visitors each year. Vestiges
found on seek hills located 3 km distant from the
town; indicate that this area was a home of

Garden
of Fin
This
garden is located 6 km south of Kashan. The
architecture of the garden is in the old Iranian style
due to which it is of great importance among the
monuments of the town. The garden in which there are
historical building and two baths with pillars made of
marble and ceilings decorated with paintings are a
splendid complex.
