Accuracy over 1km double-run leveling is a remarkable 0.8mm, and it can be improved to 0.5mm using the optional parallel plate micrometer OM1. Horizontal line of sight stability is assured by four suspension wires and a magnetic-damping compensator. Operation is convenient, thanks to features such as the two-speed focusing knob, distance-giving staid lines, and even the choice of horizontal circles (on the B1C) .

Accurate Leveling
The level's reticle can be fitted with the optional parallel plate micrometer
for precise measurement in increments of 0.1mm (estimation 0.01 mm). The accuracy obtained over 1 km double-run leveling is boosted from 0.8mm to a remarkable 0.5mm with the parallel plate micrometer.

Rapid, Easy Set-Up
Using a spherical-head tripod, setting up the level is fast and easy even on angled, uneven surfaces. Set the level onto the tripod head, center the circular bubble, and away you go.

Reliable Automatic Compensator
Four suspension wires and magnetic damping action ensure stability, even under rapidly changing atmospheric conditions, vibration, and shock. Precise damping even copes with "hang--ups" in the compensator.

Precise Collimation
This model incorporates an endless horizontal motion drive with two knobs for fast and easy aiming operable by right or left hand turn the instrument, fine motion to aim the level target precisely.
A two-speed focusing knob switches between coarse and fine focusing for even faster operation. The optics are designed to be bright and easy to use.

Stadia
